What emergency call outs involves
An emergency call-out focuses on making a property safe, secure and watertight as quickly as possible — for example, temporarily covering storm damage to a roof, isolating a leak, or boarding up after a break-in — with a full permanent repair scoped and quoted separately once the immediate risk is dealt with.
Suitable for
- Storm damage needing temporary weatherproofing
- Leaks needing urgent isolation to prevent further damage
- Making a property secure following damage or attempted break-in
Not suitable for
- Gas leaks — leave the property and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 immediately, this is not a callout we attend as a first response
- Situations requiring the fire service, police or an ambulance — always call 999 first for genuine emergencies involving immediate danger
